I prioritize fostering a safe and compassionate space for every client, especially those writing about trauma, to explore their voice.
I offer one-on-one coaching in writing, performance, and public speaking.
Coaching sessions are personalized to help each client meet their short-term or long-term goals. I help writers build confidence, routine, and writing success through craft analysis, goal-setting, thoughtful revision, and curated exercises.
Because everyone has demands on their time, unique strengths, and different goals, I do not use a rigid coaching methodology. I’ve worked for more than 15 years as an academic tutor, so I know how to adjust to changing needs—and I know the power of working one-on-one.
Whether you’ve got a memoir underway, want to write your first poem, or you want to hone your craft, I’m here to be your personal cheerleader!
I love to work on all kinds of projects, although I typically advise writers who are:
Writing a book or long-term project
Seeking accountability and/or editorial guidance
Looking to strengthen their creative, business, or analytical writing
Unsure where to start with a project
Interested in exploring experimental writing or learning more about comedy

Here are my coaching and advisory rates, which we can discuss in more detail on our call. If cost is a concern, I also offer group writing workshops and seminars. You can find scheduling links below.
One-on-one coaching sessions, pay as you go | $150 per hour
10-hour coaching package, paid in advance | $1350 (10% discount)
A 30-minute advisory session with writing feedback | $90
Editing with Written Feedback, up to 10,000 words | 3 cents/word

Full Manuscript Review
This rate varies depending on the depth of review you are looking for, length of the work, and type of book. An overhaul of a narrative memoir, for example, requires reviewing craft, structure, and interdependencies. Fine-tuning an essay or story collection is a narrower scope of work. If you’re interested in a manuscript review, you can schedule a consultation and we can discuss your needs and possible rate structures.
